NIKKI CHRYSOSTOMOU, is the founder and director of the Tranquility Pilates Centre in London. She is a Master Instructor for Balanced Body, Cranial Sacral Therapist, GYROTONIC (R) teacher and teaches basic anatomy. At the age of 13 Nikki began assisting teaching in dance and movement, which gave her the fundamental base of knowledge about the body and alignment. Nikki has been teaching Pilates since 2002 and believes there is still so much to learn. ”The day I stop learning will be the day I leave this universe!”

Nikki’s love of practicing and teaching Pilates comes across in her work. She is an extremely motivating, positive, and dedicated person who helps people understand their bodies for a better way of life.

In 2009 Nikki completed a 2-year Shiatsu course which started her journey in understanding underlying problems of client’s pathologies. From Shiatsu came Cranial Sacral Therapy. Listening to the client’s body is a big part of Nikki’s work. This results in an increase in the quality of movement, movement with less or no pain, and ensures initiation of movement from the right place.

When not traveling nationally or internationally, Nikki teaches out of her studio in central London. Her studio, The Tranquility Pilates Centre has been running since 2005.
