Description
Do you have clients who are interested in weight training, but are worried about getting injured or have a flare up every time they hit the gym?
Do you have clients who also want a more traditional fitness experience in the studio or would benefit from more traditional fitness and strength work?
Do you want more exercises and sequences for teaching circuit classes that include straightforward movements and simple choreography that feel challenging, while keeping your clients safe?
If so these workshops are for you.
In these online Pilates workshops, Nikki Naab-Levy will show you how to troubleshoot form and alignment issues in exercises that clients often practice in a gym or group fitness setting. This workshop will show you regression and progressions using the Pilates equipment to meet the needs of both beginner and advanced clients.
You will also learn how to address joint discomfort and mobility issues in the joints of the upper and lower body. Additionally, these workshops will teach you how to adapt popular fitness exercises to the Pilates apparatuses, so you can incorporate these movements sessions if you have clients who would like a more traditional fitness experience without having to go to a gym.
For specific details on each workshop see the More Details section below.

" I loved this workshop and learned a lot! Nikki\'s organization and presentation were great. The information and exercises Nikki presented are helpful not only for squat and deadlift strength, but also for good standing posture and balance. I had already gained a lot of knowledge on this subject from other workshops and books, but I still learned some great tips and preparation/regression exercises in this workshop. Thank you, Nikki! "

" This course is very practical and the information is communicated well. thank you for the information presented, I can\'t wait to apply some of it to clients who have been diagnosed with gluteal amnesia. "
Susan S
" Yes tons of information here! I really like the emphasis you place on the individual\'s movement experience vs. insisting all body forms should look the same way for example squats with wider or narrower feet depending on the person. I have sometimes felt that the ideal form of an exercise as taught in my training is so focused on stability that some clients become fearful of moving incorrectly in daily life. I now have a better distinction of flexibility, mobility, and stability to convey. "
Susan S
" A great informative course that has given me lots to take away and integrate not only into more athletic clients but also rehab too. "
