Description

Every movement begins with a weight shift. Whether subtle or obvious, these shifts are the foundation of how we initiate motion and maintain balance. In this insightful online workshop, Jenn Pilotti explores the mechanics and nuances of weight shifting—from the initial set-up, to the shift itself, to the anchor points that support and guide it.

You’ll gain practical tools to assess movement more effectively and to cue with greater clarity and creativity. If you have a client who struggles with a specific pattern or transition, shifting your perspective—literally and figuratively—may be the missing piece.

This workshop will help you understand the role of weight shifts in movement initiation and transitions, identify key anchor points that support efficient weight transfer, refine your ability to cue from a whole-body, embodied perspective, and deepen your understanding of movement set-up and intention
