I have lumbar herniations I have had for quite a few years and am limited in some exercises such as short spine can cause pain the next day. I now have a c2-6 slight mild bulging and retrolisthesis of C5 over C6.

No one addresses this in Pilates and PT’s only say you have to deal with it and stretch. Any help for any of the above, especially the neck with the flexion we do in Pilates.

    Hi Susan,

Unfortunately, I do not have any easy tips that could be easily explained here. I could help you explore some things that may help you optimize your movement in daily life and in the Pilates studio. I am now doing only online privates. You can get in touch with the studio ( Fusion Pilates in asheville , NC ) and we can try to set you up with an appointment.

    Love
    Jen
