Description

In this online Pilates workshop, Joy Puleo takes an in-depth look at the anatomy and biotensegrity of the lower body. By exploring the anatomy of the lower spine, pelvis and legs (including bones, muscles and connective tissue), we can examine the relationships of these structures to each other and to dynamic movement. Learn how to train the lower body to strengthen these inter-realtionships, create balance, power and support for the entire body.

  • Teach anatomy of the lower spine, legs and pelvis
  • Understand the relationship of the anatomy to the integrity of our structure as a whole
  • Examine the biotensegrity model as it relates to the lower body
  • Create dynamic training protocols for the lower body designed to create power, balance and support
