Description
When working with a client who is suffering from pain, most instructors would air on the side of caution when it comes to load. However, in this workshop, Cody Jussel explains why load is not only safe for some pathologies, but it’s actually necessary for healing.
Thanks to her in-depth knowledge of body mechanics, Cody shares the research and explains the importance of load for clients with low back pain, shoulder tendinopathies, and hip osteoarthritis. Witness a new-to-Pilates client experience the benefit of the exercises Cody presents almost immediately, and discover small changes to familiar movements that make all the difference for your clients.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll understand how to manage load, introduce more load when your client is ready, and why it’s important to encourage your client to move as much as is tolerable.
