Description

Spiral Spine Pilates founder Erin Myers offers her unique approach on how to safely and effectively work with clients who have undergone scoliosis spinal fusion surgery.

In this online Pilates workshop, Erin reviews the specific set of challenges spinal fusions can present and how to work with them, dispelling any misconceptions that those with spinal fusions can’t practice Pilates. You will learn the spinal fusion movement rules to ensure you can confidently keep your fusion clients safe while working them out. Analysis of the spinal curvatures and rotations still present after fusion surgery is also taught.

Hear Erin’s real-life spinal fusion clients who detail their individual journeys both before and after their surgeries, and how they are now able to successfully practice Pilates. In addition to a series of exercises designed for scoliosis spinal fusion clients, the workshop also addresses some of the emotional affects scoliosis can present, giving you the tools to inspire, educate, and empower your clients to live their lives to the fullest.
