Description

In this workshop, Nora St. John takes you on an in-depth exploration of the anatomy of the foot reviewing bones, muscles, and biomechanics through numerous exercises designed to balance forces around the foot, ankle and lower leg.

Learn strategies to help your clients mobilize and strengthen their feet in order to create a more stable foundation for movement. Using small props in addition to traditional Pilates equipment - the reformer, chair, and Cadillac - Nora provides clear and effective strategies for common misalignments as well as providing dynamic variations designed to address issues like plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains, and work with athletes who may not be using their feet properly in shoes.

Become more confident in training this area of the body while learning exercises that use both equipment and small props that can be easily adapted for a home program.
