Description
In this online Pilates workshop, Jennifer Gianni teaches her concepts for working with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobile clients during and after pregnancy. Learn teaching protocol as well as interpersonal skills and guidelines in working with this very underserved population.
Observe Jennifer working one on one with one of her very own clients with EDS that she has trained before, during, and after the birth of her child.
The workshop begins with an explanation and description of the syndrome. We also go over guidelines and protocol. Then we progress into challenging mat and apparatus exercises created specifically for the EDS pregnant client. The workshop ends with an interview with the client post pregnancy. Labor, delivery and some post-pregnancy EDS protocol are discussed in this conversation.
