Description

In this fast-paced workshop, Sylvia Byrd-Leitner shares over 70 exercise variations that she has learned and created during her two decades of teaching experience. Some of these variations are meant to add intensity while others are intended to increase body awareness, and they will all challenge your clients to return to the Pilates principles of concentration, control, center, flow, precision, and breathing.

The exercises presented in this workshop can be used a-la-carte; pick and choose what works for you and your clients and use them in your workouts where appropriate. Most of these variations utilize the reformer, but there are also options for the mat using small props as well as the springboard/ trapeze table.

Sylvia’s fun and creative exercises will expand the movement teachers’ toolbox and help you add variety to your classes, keeping your clients challenged, interested, and coming back for more!
