Description
By using the reformer and the reformer half/trap, in combination with the Sling system we will explore how to work smart and creatively to balance the myofascial system in our pre natal clients. Pregnancy is a crucial moment in life where great emphasis must be put on balanced tensioning, lengthening and lubrication of the fascial web. We will explore unwinding the pelvis from the feet and the legs and from the shoulder girdle and torso to create an easier pregnancy, labor, delivery and recovery.

Thank you for your wonderful workshop.I try some works for a client of peripheral neurosis. It’s going well.I want to continue leaning.

I appreciated understanding the purpose of each exercise and how it pertains to the specifics of pregnant clients. I am currently 24 weeks pregnant, so this training is very applicable.

Fascial work is a special interest of mine within Pilates, and I enjoyed this introduction (for me) to fascial work during pregnancy.

I really enjoyed these workshops - i know some of these movements from gyrotonics but it's wonderful to see how these movements can be done on the reformer too and with such flow and attention to release and lengthening.

Thanks Jennifer. Great workshop

Awesome teaching and creative adaptations, as always!
Sophie
Thank you. This workshop offered many creative ways to modify movements for those who are far along in their pregnancy. Unfortunately, the volume of props required really limits the number of exercises I will be able to put into practice with my clients.

Jennifer was very easy to understand, and had a soothing voice. I liked the pacing of the workshop, not too fast that I felt lost and not too slow that I felt bored...

Great use of imagery cueing...

I wish I would have had this during my pregnancies...

Valuable and gentle movements that can also be used with other populations

Thank you for information that helped me see my pregnant client through new eyes. The spinal motions with emphasis on expansion through dynamic stability will be a wonderful addition to my tool bag.

I enjoyed watching these videos. I am currently at the beginning of my 2nd trimester, and am grateful for a safe effective workout. It would have been a little helpful to see different camera angles at times, but the cueing was so descriptive I understood what the intentions for the body were.

Great workshop!

Hi Patrice,I am so happy you enjoyed the workshop. My pregnant clients love this work but the variations are so supportive and create so many options for multi dimensional movement that the work is excellent for all types of clients. The work combining the tower and reformer that you mentioned really liking are exercises that I created for specific pregnant clients in my studio to get their legs strong while still opening the pelvic outlet to prepare them for the upcoming labor. Love, Jen

Thank you for this workshop. You have given me lots of ideas to add variations to these exercises, like using the cadillac too. Did you create these yourself?
