FDU Online Workshop Guidelines

Presenters

We are honored to produce workshops with some of the most creative Pilates minds in the industry. By offering Pilates continuing education on our platform we enabling students from around the world the chance to study with instructors they would not have access to otherwise. See the Presenters who have worked with us here. Our current focus is diversity and discovering instructors who may not be established or well-known in the industry yet, but who are doing great work that deserves a platform.

Philosophy

Our mission is to showcase incredible instructors teaching whatever topic they’re most passionate about at the time. Has something captured your imagination lately? Has something set your curiosity into high gear? Are you obsessed with something in particular? That’s what your workshop should be about!

The goal is to produce a workshop that will inspire and improve the teaching of any instructor who takes part. Our most treasured feedback is when a user says, “I just used this work with my clients, and they were blown away.”

Presenter Responsibilities

  • Plan your workshop
  • Pre-shoot rough outline
  • Shoot

And that’s it! Our team handles the rest. Presenters are welcome to have input throughout to post production process but it is not required. Our in-house post production work includes:

  • Creating a PDF Handout to be included
  • PopUps
  • Quiz for NPCP CECs (if applicable)
  • Sales Page  (Title, Description, Concepts etc of your workshop…)
  • Special features like animation, graphics, slides, as needed…

Presenter Royalties

Royalty payments are made quarterly to all presenters at a generous percentage of net profit on your workshop(s). If you decide to move forward we will share a blank contract with all of the details.

Topics

We have an extremely wide variety of users, from brand new instructors, to those with decades of experience, to master instructors, to studio owners. Our only criteria is that the topic be high quality, innovative, distinct, and immediately useful to a Pilates Professional.

Our users want specific skills on a specific topic for specific circumstances that they can understand, learn, and use with their clients right away. The goal is to have our users enter their studio armed with the techniques and information they learned in your workshop and have their clients notice.

Audience

Our audience consists of Pilates professionals only. We want to provide excellent tools for the instructor’s toolbox.

Length

2 to 3 hours seems to be the most popular length. Pricing is based on length. If you have a program that needs more time – please let’s discuss. Our workshops are usually split up into sessions lasting 15-20 minutes each.
