Donna Parise Byrne, PT, PRC, NCPT and Dr. Sarah Petrich, DPT, PRC, NCPT PRI have been teaching together for over a decade. After co-creating and instructing the Postural Restoration Institute® (PRI) Integration for Pilates Course for several years, they co-founded Re-Balance Pilates, a collaborative approach that integrates physical therapy, Postural Restoration®, and Pilates.
At Re-Balance Pilates, they appreciate that neurologically, physiologically, and habitually the human body is asymmetrical. It's this inherent asymmetry, especially in regard to the diaphragm, that dictates the predictable asymmetrical movement and postural patterns seen in clients. The Re-Balance Pilates approach integrates the concepts of the Postural Restoration Institute® with theprinciples of Joseph Pilates in a systematic process to balance these asymmetries for functional and efficient movement.
Donna Parise Byrneis the founder of Pilates Central Wellness. Sheoffers an integrative approach that combines Physical Therapy, Pilates, and Postural Restoration® to support clients across the full spectrum of movement—from rehabilitation through performance and lifelong wellness.
