What would you recommend to help with round ligament pain? In researching I find things like cat cow/pelvic tilts, on hands and knees with head on floor and hips reaching up (can't remember the name for it) and various rest positions.

Yes, you are correct about the all four’s position…Cat /cow, hip hikes, pelvic circles and the bent knee Down Dog are great ones for lengthening this area. Round Ligament pain is a tricky one and can vary a lot person to person. It usually comes on from normal movements…sit to stand, rolling over in bed etc…So in the studio the all four’s position is a great way to mobilize the pelvis and stretch the area….The other area that is super important to emphasize even in their last trimester is activating their deep system…If they can think about this and pre activate it before they sit down or stand up it can alleviate the pain.
