Hello, Couple quick questions. When reading the “BBU Pilates Reformer Intructor Certification Requirements for Completition” on the website it states that we need 300 hours not including Anatomy. Do the movement principals count towards these hours? And if so does that mean 24 hours have been completed? 8 for the videos and 8 for each of Friday/Saturday? It also just states reformer and mat hours for completion, are apparatuses not required for completion/don’t count towards our total hours? Sorry if this is confusing. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend and start to the comprehensive certification! Best, Anthony

Hi Anthony - In addition to our website, here's a good webpage to reference - see the Test Out Requirements section. https://www.pilates.com/BBAPP/V/education/pilates/index.html You don't really need to think about the total of 300 hours. That's just aproximate number of hours that you will have spent on the program once you've completed everything. What's important for you will be the hours you need to log and keep track of - which are: Mat Practical hours (70 total hours) - 20 Mat personal sessions - 15 observation hours - 35 student teaching hours Reformer Practical hours (150 hours total) - 30 Reformer personal sessions - 30 observation hours - 90 student teaching hours I believe that you are going through the Online Apprentice program - so as long as you fill out that log - at the end of that program you will just fax those to Balanced Body to be approved for test out. Let us know if that doesn't clear things up!
