Footwork is a foundation and skill building exercise. Classical footwork done on the bar is amazing to create an awareness of core stability around the spine and pelvis, to find proper alignment, and to have ease of motion in the legs. The whole foot is never grounded on the foot bar, which can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on your client and their needs. The jumpboard gives you the option of full foot support and functional stability and alignment work from the ground up that the client can take home with them and into their everyday activities such as walking.
