Hi, I have signed up for the Comprehensive Apprentice Program, taken Anatomy and Mat I, and plan to take the remainder of the classes for certification. The literature states the observation hours need to be with an approved instructor. Can you tell me how to get my instructor approved? Thanks, Jackie |

Hi Jackie, Please let us know where you saw the note about the approved instructor and which program you're going through. Usually - you will just need to fax or scan/email your apprentice logs to the appropriate person from your program and you're all set. But let us know and we can give you details. thanks! |

My goal is the Comprehensive Pilates Certification. Under the BBU Instructor Certification Requirements for Completion for Mat and reformer after the requirement for the observation hours, it defines those as "hours you spend observing an approved instructor teaching mat work." Also, I've been taking private lessons with this instructor since January (weekly) and many weeks a group class as well. Can I apply these to the personal practice hours requirements? They are documented in my Mind-Body profile. Thank you so much! Jackie |

Hi Jackie, Some more info for you. I realize now that you're in the Balanced Body program - so you can fax your apprentice log to them and you'll be all set. You can also contact your instructor directly to get approval on any live observation you're doing too. Please let us know if you have any other questions! Best, Angelo |
