Description

We all know that one key to operating a successful studio is to keep your clients interested by offering fresh series-style classes. The Animal Body™ Mat Create-a-Class includes everything you need to get this fun series up and running right away. All of our Create-a-Class programs have been tested in real studios with real clients.

We offer 2 different creative mat workshops, each with an animal body theme, as a part of this program. You can take one and then offer this class to your clients. Or you can take both of these workshops to create a longer series of classes. These workshops are designed so that you can mix and match the exercises.

Animal Body: Insect

The Insect themed Mat workshop is to inspire movement and sequencing that creates a deep sense of where we radiate and draw power from. The focus and choreography leads us to progressive and layered work in the seat of our upper core ( ribcage) and our lower core ( pelvis). This synchronizes the power in our center so that we can move our limbs with the fullest expression. The main workout is challenging, fun, fluid and fast paced. After the main workout, we have a Let's Discuss section to refine the movements and cues so that you as the teacher know exactly how to break down and translate the exercise to your client. Every workshop includes a release class just for that theme. You will learn a ton of fun, creative and effective release sequencing to pair with this workout.

Modifications are given so this can be done with beginners. There are many sections of the workout and release class that can be done with a therapeutic client. Because the work is layered it can serve a number of different populations and levels.

Animal Body: Fish

 The Fish themed mat workshop is to inspire movement and sequencing for you and your clients that explores the diagonals, undulations, and spirals that the human body is built around. The workout is meant to cross train and give many vectors of movement so that one can be a better shape shifter. It is built for the client that does the same thing with there body day in and day out: whether that be sitting, working on your feet, or long distance running. The main workout is challenging, fun, fluid and fast paced. After every main workout, we have a Let's Discuss to refine the movements and the cues so you as the teacher know exactly how to break down and translate the exercise to your client. Every workshop includes a release class just for that theme. Here we have the Fish Catch and Release class. You will learn a ton of fun and effective release sequencing to pair with this workout.
